These are just some basic rules that I expect any person to follow, so please do. I don't want to have to take disciplinary action onto anybody here, so please don't make me. But do know that if I have to, I will not fail to do so, no matter who you are.
It is not that I don't want to be involved with the activities here, but I would much rather be role playing here, rather than settling arguments, here. Wouldn't you? With those in mind, keep the following in mind, as well:
This is a forum, meaning that you do not have to reply to something right away. While quicker responses will move stories and combat along quicker, we're looking for quality here, not quantity. Here's how this will be broken down:
The only exception to these time standards is the host of a story, as it's needed for the host to move the story along. If a host cannot post within 96 hours, the thread will be closed and anything that the characters have accomplished will have stopped there. It would be like going to face off with a dragon, after acquiring the armor, but the group never met up to head off to the dragon. They would walk away with all the earned gear, and not the accomplishment of killing the dragon, even if mid-post. If something like this should occur, add it to your character's story in a way that would make sense. (If you were fighting the dragon and the thread was closed, perhaps you ran away mid-fight to survive?)
- Be respectful to each other. This doesn't mean you have to necessarily like one another, but please at least treat each other with respect. Most of us here are nearly, or already are, adults, so please act like it.
- Characters are limited only to how much they have been role-played up to. There are no God characters here, as we all have finite power. Do not make your character start off able to obliterate the continent with the snap of his or her fingers, as that is highly unreasonable, and unfair to those who have worked up to the ability to just create a simple explosion with the snap of their fingers.
- With the previous rule in mind, please note that if something is not being done as it should be, settle it among yourselves. Let's act mature here, yes? If I have to get involved in anything that isn't of dire importance, it will not only degrade the quality of the role play, but it will degrade your reputation here, and possibly outside of this website. You'll be helping yourself as well as each other, this way.

This is a forum, meaning that you do not have to reply to something right away. While quicker responses will move stories and combat along quicker, we're looking for quality here, not quantity. Here's how this will be broken down:
- For the first post, you have 96 hours to reply to it. This means, you have four days to reply to the starter post before the story will move along without that post, or in a combat situation, your opponent will be allowed to make their next turn.
- After you've replied to the first post, that time is shrunk down to 48 hours. This means you get two days to reply to posts after you have both posted once. Failure to do this will result in the opponent's hit automatically hitting, if in combat, or skipping of your turn in a story. If it becomes your turn again, and you fail to meet the 48 hour limit, the hit will become lethal, in combat. If in a story, you will be dropped from the story. This is not to be cruel, however we do want to move stories along, here. Also, do not skip someone if the time limit has not been met, yet.
