"Martial Law" Thread location: Sh'rutal, within Phyr'alLocations in story: Sh'rutal, the mountains of Phyr'al Legendary Creature(s): Kendall the SadisticMy Character(s): Dimtaan RhulvnIntroduction Adepts of whatever schools they have just graduated from, those that have completed one weapon and one magic, typically move on to live in whichever country they are most drawn to, where they will typically spend the rest of their lives; that is the norm of Kalg'rai. This means that after graduating from a weapon and a magic school, most friendships are broken up by distance, very rarely allowing them to continue unless they travel to the country of their choice together. This is the norm of Kalg'rai. The main method of transportation to the other countries is the MagiTech train, since it is faster and will allow for the new Adepts to quickly start establishing their lives in their new homes. This is the norm of Kalg'rai. But the norm has eluded the latest batch of freshly-graduated Adepts. Kendall has begun a new ritual, to which none are yet aware of. Divination Adepts, for some reason, are unable to trace Kendall's intent, what he is doing, or where he is. While it is normally almost impossible to figure anything out, now, even whatever he does eludes the Divination Adepts, leaving people to only find out what he's done after the fact via their own two eyes or by rumor. Rumor has it, he's gathering up people like cattle to be slaughtered for some terrific event. This time, for the graduating Adepts, there will be no going to their country of choice, as Sh'rutal seals off its entrances, closes down its MagiTech trains, and ramps up security. They intend on stopping Kendall before he can accomplish whatever dark feat he is on the verge of completing. But it will not be enough. Not satisfied with how the government of Sh'rutal handles things, a group of Adepts will come together, by choice or not, and seek to put an end to Kendall so they can move out of Sh'rutal, if they desire, as well as just allow the Martial Law to be lifted. Fueled by either anger, fear, or even just a chance for fame, the Adepts are possibly the best bet to accomplish this... but there is a catch. Any caught in the affairs of Kendall or "intruding the Government's work" are frowned upon and subject to attack from the militia, meaning these Adepts must do this without alerting everyone to their efforts, or it will all be in vain. That is not to say those of the Sh'rutal Underground will not help, however, it is impossible to tell just who is a part of this secret "society" within Sh'rutal, meaning talking openly about it is likely to get these Adepts into trouble and possibly killed.
Prerequisites There are no prerequisites applicable to this story excluding that you have posted your character that you will be using in the Character Sheets subcategory beforehand. If you are interested in participating in this story ( which is recommended, just so you can see how about to do a story here, but is not mandatory. You can just read it as it unfolds, if you desire) I ask that you message me with a link to the character that you will be using and a verification that yes, you are indeed interested. When I have a solid group of people ( possibly 5, including myself; 4 other people. Though more than that is not a problem at all, I welcome more if interested.) I will make the initial post in the Sh'rutal subcategory and will give a posting order then and there. I hope to see many interested in this, as I'm fairly excited to introduce the first story of Kalg'rai. Note: There will be some combat in this story, however this will have more to do with puzzles and trying to figure things out, so do not be discouraged by the fact there will be combat in this story.

Whitch Hunters in the Woods.
Thread Location:Jerianth Location:Jerianth-Woods surrounding Nhimry Legendary Creatures: Behemoth, Garuda, Leviathan My Character: Cen Story Synopsis: The stigma against magic and magitec in the Jerianth region had to have come from somewhere. In the woods outside the Nhimry, a smoke rises between the trees, as the cult of Naritu burn another innocent person suspected of withcraft. How many have died from there hand? How long has this cult even existed? No one knew until an wandering elf-like creature named Cen stumbled in Nhimry.
The point of the story is to introduce my character, Cen, as well as explore a whitch hunting cult that might have magical origins. PM me if your interested~. (If I messed up anywhere please tell me.)

DoubtThread Location: Sh'rutal, Hystnuv'er Summary
A viral new mobile game has swept through the nation of Kalg'rai. The game has infected the minds of both young and old, pulling them into the fast paced murder game known as Doubt. The game is simple; A colony of rabbits must find the wolf, or killer, hiding amongst their group as they are killed off one by one. However, something mysterious happens to a group of online friends that commonly play the game together. What begins as an innocent party quickly turns into a fight for survival. Will they find and stop the Wolf? Or will the rabbits be it's prey.
Additional Notes
It is very possible that your character will die within this 'Storyline'. If your character is entered into this story -- Regardless of the turn of events -- they will remain alive outside of this story. Additionally, I will be working as the 'narrator', in an effort to move the story along, but I will also have a character within.
If you wish to join this story, you must PM me a Body Part, as well as what character you will be using. Please, do be appropriate.

Synopsis
"BOUNTY." That's what the poster says in large red letters, pinned neatly to the bulletin, out of the way of most of it's neighbors and commanding it's own form of attention. Most of the other posters seemed to be from various local citizens, looking for one-time hires necessary to do this and that; this one however, was issued by the law enforcement of Sh'rutal. The poster summarized a few months' worth of lost items, and hints heavily that the law enforcement expects pickpockets to be the cause. This unignorable, yet largely non-urgent matter was left to a bounty. "Rewards shall be gifted to those who shall aid us. If pickpocketing is the case, we would very much prefer that you turn them in."
Prerequisites
No prerequisites exist, however characters with a hint of knowledge of Arcane or Divination magic may have an initial advantage over those who do not. If more than three people become interested, then chance encounters may be randomized. To enter, simply have your character sheet within the alloted thread, and PM me.
Note: There may or may not be combat, depending on how each character goes about this. This story could, and probably will be very short in length, however if things take long to progress plot-wise, the day could be advanced into the next, giving a new chance at progression with new events. Players gathered, story thread to be created soon.

Explorers who simply wish for adventure are discouraged by several tales of gruesome death falling upon those before them, and mapmakers dare not come near for fear of deadly reptilean beasts, and terrifying demonic perversions of bloodsucking parasites. Even in the upper branches of most magic academies, like Merlinwood's, it is highly discouraged if not forbidden for lorekeepers to go there.
Still, lorekeepers are of course the ones with the greatest interest, rare and ancient stories of the beasts and terrors living there, and the secret magics that can't be found anywhere else. What's important in all of this is that I do believe the danger described probably brings you a little bit of excitement, and that otherwise there is something there that you know you want. Isn't that right, Orion?" "You talk a lot, you know. Anyone with a shorter attention span would've been adrift already. But yes. I do want something that can only be found there." SynopsisHystnuv'er has yet to be explored and studied, leading a lorekeeper to be willing to hire a party of adventurers to try to make their way to a black sanctuary within the land, and return back alive to give it's location. Along the way, there is an expectation for great danger, malicious beasts and creatures lining the path.
Prerequisites This roleplay will likely be best done as a group endeavor, where diversity in skill could help overcome different obstacles. Legacy of Clan Saph'ral Thread Location: Tun'aru, Capital City of Vhunt'yirStory Location(s): Kalg'rai 1Legendary Creature(s): Unknown 2Introduction The elderly and divinators within the tundra who were around or that have interest in Tun'aru's history know of an old clan that had a reputation of being extremely powerful with unique styles of magic and a knack for keeping an extremely mysterious shroud over themselves. All that was truly known of them for a while was that they only came out when one could locate one of these elites and personally ask something of them, which was hardly possible even for divinators, or if one first approached someone for something. Somehow, they eluded everybody's scopes, but they were known for one major achievement. One year, an Ice-Dragon had emerged and came with the rare case of many younger dragons approaching it. These dragons continuously laid waste to everything they saw, including towns. Many towns and cities still lay in ruin to this day. Nobody seemed to be able to stop these dragons, and many feared that Vhunt'yir would be lost to the Ice-Dragonkind. After months of attacks and casualty reports giving number far more intimidating than expected, a small band of people started to show up within Vhunt'yir. They were outsiders; nobody recognized any of them. They held confident auras, despite the chaos of the times. Everybody knew these few people weren't quite the heroic types, but they suspected something different about them. Rumors started to spread after the dragons disappeared as a whole. After a few weeks of peace, the band, without any visible wounds of any kind, returned and gave them a heavy load of the alpha ice-dragon's hoard, pronounced their clan name, and then disappeared again. Nobody knew how they did it, or how they could have done them in so effectively, but everyone regarded them as heroes. They became legends within the entire region of Vhunt'yir. They were the saviors, the guardians. Even though everyone knew the band was very exclusive and probably not a friendly lot, they were the saviors of the era. To this day, many know of this story as a bedtime story, a topic of conversation to some, and a reason for Vhunt'yir to live on. But Clan Saph'ral vanished after that. Nobody knows what happened, or if they are still alive anymore. Divinators can't find the answers, nor can the elders. They left without a trace. Occasionally, someone of extreme power would spring up somewhere within one of the regions, and would make themselves known by achievements alone. The citizens of Tun'aru suspect the clan disbanded and scattered all over the continent and these people are those members. But none can be sure. People often wonder if the members ever had offspring to carry on their legacy of extreme strength and enigmatic magical capability ranges. But nobody ever finds answers. Recently, a new threat has occurred. As if a chain reaction, a sudden surge of raw mana would become of each region. Apparitions started spawning more and more, yet everybody's magical potency skyrocketed to unheard of levels en masse. Everything became more powerful than people were truly capably of doing. Power struggles have emerged, and chaos is taking over the continents slowly, the mana corrupting the minds of many into the creation of more and more lunatics. Some towns and cities have become known as lunatic havens, as they were completely consumed by the mana-madness. The surge of mana is a curse more than a blessing. Apparitions are becoming so common that they often attack cities and towns, and still yet they even fight each other upon crossing paths. There is only one lead as to how to solve the curse enveloping the continent: follow the source of the mana surge. This is possible only by obvious increase of mana in the land and frequencies of apparitions as one draws closer to the source in each region. Many have died along the way in vain attempts to get to the sources. Others have become lunatics far more powerful than even legends of Kendall. People had hoped the mysterious heroes would emerge; Vhunt'yir is desperately hoping that Clan Saph'ral will save the day again. So a search party is needed to either be heroes, or to seek out the legends.
Prerequisites Your character sheet must be sent to my pm so I know which character you will be using. I will post the thread when I have the minimum number of participants. 1: This story will take you all over Kalg'rai, rather than just one region. This also means you can begin in a different region if you so desire. But everyone will meet up at some point. 2: Legendary creatures will randomly pop up in the story due to the story's unstable knowledge of what is where. I will still create legendary creature pages as they are encountered. 3: NPCs are things such as store owners, etc.

[Bounty: Ogre Shaman] <{COMPLETE}>
Thread Location: TBA Location of Encounter: Forest in between the gem mines and the river outside of Sh'rutal Targets: Head Ogre Shaman My Character: Oratus Sermus Time: After Sticky Fingers, before Clan of Saph'ral. Synopsis
On the Sh'rutal Bounty Board, there lies a notice with bold lettering. NOTICE: Crazed Ogres have been taking destroying resource gathering projects for several Phy'ral cities. Law Enforcement involvement is now at an all time low in handling the Lunacy, and so we must ask that a bounty hunter(s) take it upon themselves to rid these obstacles to our land's further development. These Ogres are quite dangerous, and Anti-Magic is discouraged in methods of eliminating the Head Shaman. The head shaman uses a magic-fueled club with serrated blades that whirl to inflict cutting damage, and is very capable of casting various powerful spells. Reward items are as follows:
- 1600phi
- Metalsyn HoloScouter w/microboard programmer
- Special Condition: Leave the Ogre's tusks attached and undamaged enough for identification, else there will be a -800phi deduction. The ability to identify the shaman is necessary to be certain that the shaman of the group, marked by the large tusks relative to skull size, is indeed eliminated.

[Bounty: Mystery Woman] Thread Location: TBA Location: The misty forests of Jerianth Target: The Woman in the Mist Time: Pre-Clan of Saph'ral Recommended Party Size: 1-2 On Jerianth's Bounty Board, there lies a notice... NOTICE: Disappearances have been happening for a couple of weeks, mostly male adults. Each disappearance seemed to be preceded and followed by the victims calling out with strange voicings, and the abductions seem to only take place as victims travel through the forest. In addition to this, there have been several sightings of the form of a bare woman walking in the mist, evading all attempts at interaction, leading many to believe that a demon now haunts the woods. Demons are known to be deceptive users of magic, so all who wish to claim this bounty, be warned.
Rewards:
- 750phi
- Antimagic Shield
- Additional Piercing Spear is rewarded if the abductees are returned home alive.
WARNING: Sexual themes will likely be present. A possibility in failing may also result in entrapment, however taking the bounty with a very small group would do well as a protective measure. I may use my character Oratus Sermus.

To those with the bravest hearts,As of late, reports have been coming in concerning a group of animals that have been ravaging the people all over Shystae. While the targets they have been taking were without any consistency, the only bit of consistent information we can receive is that the creatures resemble tigers in an extreme sense. We have been able to find that there are only four of these creatures, and rumor has it that these creatures are extraplanar-possessed. The idea is, for obvious reasons, concerning, as we do not know what will follow. These creatures must be put down as quickly as possible! We ask that you bring their tails in for evidence of your success. There will be a 1,000phi deduction for each missing tail. Rewards- 4,000phi to everyone who participates

The Aurora Borealis is a truly beautiful sight to behold, captivating the hearts of many across the northernmost territories of the world; but it just so happens that in Kalg'rai, the northern lights are able to be seen elsewhere too. Where exactly is almost always hard to predict, and has for a long time baffled just about all of the cultures known to witness it. The oldest civilizations made claim that the lights were the trace energies of a fox tail, as a vibrant blue and purple canine lashed it's tail, running across the distant horizons of the night sky. Those same civilizations had a special name for the light, "Fox Fire," and as such kept sure that they honored it, lest they risk the fox deity making a visit to the mortal plane, and destroying all which they knew and loved. Beginning some days ago, the Aurora Borealis would seem to have made several consecutive appearances, and pattern detection has allowed for meteorologists to depict with real accuracy where it will show. As a result, thousands of people flocked to once quiet mountain towns to get the best view of the lights, noticing that with each showing, they seem to be getting brighter, and more lively. What is really behind this strange phenomena? Might it be an omen? No one shall know until one fateful night.
Prerequisites
All that's needed to have a character participate is have their sheet in the allotted character sheet thread, and send me a message showing your interest. No posting time limit shall be imposed, however should posting take longer than a few days, it is best to contact me at the earliest time feasible, as you may be skipped if too much time goes by. In such a case, character idleness, incapacitation, or injury may potentially occur, the latter two during combat scenes. This story has a fairly short plot, and as such could potentially be completed fairly quickly. None of my own characters shall participate within the events described unless necessary for plot progression.
