Overview
There are many times of hounds, ranging in different sizes and colors. Some hounds are also more hostile, although it is rather uncertain what is what. Some hounds are more passive than others, and with a little work, have the possibility to be trained into pets. Hounds can range from common house dogs, to wolves, to even the rarer hellhound. There are also the hounds created via a psionic magic.
Creation
Hounds have been around for a very long time; almost as long as humankind can trace back to. Those that have been domesticated have become loyal to their death, while the wild hounds that inhabit Kalg'rai are loyal only to their packs if applicable or to survival. The creation of different hounds are different. It is truly impossible to say where hounds truly started from, as a result.
Mana and Magic
Hounds typically do not have the ability to use their mana pools or perform magic, however very rarely will a type of hound exist that can. The most common of this would be hounds created from a Psionic Adept that created a hound out of their element, or a hellhound.
Behavior and Habitat
This is highly dependent on what kind of hound one is thinking of. Domesticated hounds coexist with humans and metahumans, serving as pets and best friends to many. Wolves tend to gather within tundras, meaning Vhunt'yir has the highest wolf population. Hellhounds would be the exception to both of these rules.
